About this policy
This policy explains how StitchXCross handles information when you visit stitchxcross.com or use our pattern tools. For questions or privacy requests, contact us through our feedback form. Our terms of use also apply.
Your photos and patterns
Photo conversion, background removal, pattern editing, and PDF generation run in your browser. These tools do not upload your selected photos or pattern files to our servers. No account is required.
Saved patterns, thumbnails, preferences, and thread selections may be stored in your browser’s local storage. They are not an online backup and may be lost if you clear site data, change browsers or devices, or your browser removes stored data. Download copies of patterns you want to keep. You can delete saved patterns in the app or remove all local site data through your browser settings.
Feedback and technical information
If you send feedback, we receive your message, any email address you choose to provide, the page URL, browser information, language, time zone, and screen resolution. We use this information to respond, investigate problems, and improve the site. Feedback is processed through our Cloudflare service and delivered to our internal messaging and email systems.
Our hosting and service providers may process IP addresses and request information to deliver pages, protect the site, and prevent abuse. Our feedback endpoint uses IP addresses for rate limiting. Please do not include sensitive personal information in feedback.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand site usage and improve the tools. Google Analytics may use cookies and process page visits, device and browser information, approximate location, and online identifiers. See Google’s privacy policy and Google’s analytics opt-out tool.
Advertising and Mediavine
We use Journey by Mediavine to display advertising. Mediavine and its partners may use cookies, pixels, online identifiers, browsing activity, device information, and location to deliver and measure ads, including interest-based advertising. Advertising data may be shared or sold by Mediavine and its partners as described in their notices.
Where available, use the “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” or “Update Privacy Settings” control near the bottom of the site to manage advertising choices. You can also manage cookies in your browser. These choices do not necessarily stop all advertising or affect every analytics service.

Service providers, retention, and your choices
We use service providers for hosting, analytics, advertising, and feedback delivery. They may process information in countries other than your own. We retain feedback and related information as needed to respond, maintain the service, and address abuse or legal obligations; provider retention practices vary.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, or limits on certain uses of your personal information. Send requests about information we hold through our feedback form, including an email address if you want a reply. Requests about Mediavine’s processing can be directed to privacy@mediavine.com. Local patterns can be removed directly in your browser.
Children, security, and updates
The site is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Contact us if you believe a child has provided personal information.
We use reasonable safeguards, but no system can guarantee complete security. We may update this policy as the site changes; the date above shows the latest revision.
