These terms apply to stitchxcross.com and its pattern tools, reference pages, and downloads. By using the site, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please stop using the site. Our privacy policy explains how information is handled.
Your images and patterns
You retain your rights in the images and patterns you create or import. Using the tools does not transfer ownership of your work to us. You are responsible for having permission to use any photos, artwork, fonts, or other material you import and for how you use or distribute the resulting pattern.
Converting an image into a pattern does not grant rights to the underlying image. Follow any license or attribution requirements attached to material from other creators.
Acceptable use
Use the site lawfully and respect other people’s rights. Do not interfere with the service, attempt unauthorized access, distribute malicious code, or misuse the feedback form to send spam, threats, or unlawful content. We may restrict access when needed to protect the site or its users.
Reference information and downloads
Thread colors shown on screen are approximations. Matching results, Anchor cross-references, stitch counts, time estimates, and material calculations may contain errors. Check important measurements and thread choices against your fabric, physical thread samples, and project requirements before purchasing supplies or starting a project.
StitchXCross is independent and is not affiliated with DMC, Anchor, or Pattern Keeper. Names and trademarks belong to their respective owners. Site content and sample patterns remain subject to any stated licenses and applicable intellectual property rights.
Save your work
Saved patterns are stored in your browser, not in an account or cloud backup. Browser storage can be cleared or become unavailable. Download your work regularly. We cannot recover patterns that have been removed from your device.
Availability and responsibility
The site and its tools are provided “as is” and “as available.” To the extent permitted by applicable law, we make no warranties about accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, uninterrupted availability, or preservation of your work.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the site, including lost work, lost profits, or reliance on estimates. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot legally be excluded.
Third-party services
The site may contain advertising, external links, and third-party services. Those services have their own terms and privacy practices. We do not control their content or availability.
